How much more?

How much more can fit in my little life? I can't juggle very well. Ever since school started up I have dropped the ball on cleaning my room, posting on my blog, writing letters to my friends, drawing costumes, writing down the ideas for my novel, and so many other things. I dropped the ball on reading too, momentarily so that I could pick my blog up.
Fall has gone by so fast. I couldn't capture it in my writing or photography fast enough. But I tried. Marching band in a HUGE part of my fall, and I did get some photos of that, so here they are.Early Rehearsalin AugustChanging into uniforms for the district show, which we got to host this year!!!

Sigh...

Here I am. I have returned. I left my blog as life raced by me during the summer and I reached out to grab it. I dropped my blog because I can't juggle very well. If you get what I mean. But here I am again, sitting at the computer to tell you what life has thrown at me these days. Here is everything I have been doing:
Working. Yes, I have a job now. I'm a waitress at Walker assisted living.
Marching band. LOVE IT!!!!
Sewing a huge sewing project, I will post pictures later.
Doing things for the county fair.
Sending big brother off to college. sniff sniff.
And preparing for full time public high school. So scared!!
Well. What else. That's all I have been doing besides writing like crazy in my AMAZING novel. When it is published you all HAVE to read it!!!
Sorry this was short, but at least it was a post. I guess I will post some random photos I took two days ago.

The Hectic Adventure part 2

Finally I am going to tell you about the rest of the adventure in Florida. So lets see, where did I leave off....
Well, when we got to our campsite we swam in the pool and just relaxed the rest of the day. (It was a very hot day in the SUV so we needed the nice time to relax.) The next day we were going to go tour embry riddle in the morning and walk around the campus.
This is a model of the Wright brother's plane.
The school was so big! They had tons of aeroplanes and some such things. My brother stayed with a student in the dorms that night to see what it was like, and he said that half the school were training to be pilots, an d half were training to be engineers. My brother is going to be an aerospace engineer, that's what he wants to major in. Then in the morning we met up with my brother and took a tour around. We saw flight simulators....
And planes...

And lots of rocket, computer, space related stuff that I didn't take pictures of. My brother got to ride with a student in one of these planes for free. I was so envious. We all loved the school but my brother ended up going to Iowa state. then the rest of the week we had free to explore, and have fun in Florida. We went to the beach one of the day, and I would say that was the highlight of the whole trip. I LOVE the ocean! I loved going out to where there are the huge waves that are taller than me and try to ride them, and be sped along by the force. The speed the waves sent me was incredibale! But if I was caught off guard the wave s sometimes sent me into a cartwheel, head over heels. That made me swallow water. Not a good thing to go through. My family and I went walking along the shore and got our feet covered in sand which was very fine sand. We all had the time of our lives.

And that is the end!!!!!!! Of the post. not the adventure! Look for part 3!

The Hectic Adventure part 1

I like the word hectic. It describes a lot in one little word. Like a trip to Florida.
Yes, I went to Florida for spring break this year with my family, and just got back today. What a trip it was!!! I will download some pics here in a minute of all that we did. But the main reason we were there was to visit a university that my brother might be going to next year. It is called Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and as you can see it is all about aeronautics. My brother is a rocket scientist or that is what he is going to be, and Embry Riddle was perfect for him. Everybody there was into what he is into. And while we were down there we decided to see the space shuttle launch. NASA will only do a few more so we didn't want to miss it. That too was AWESOME!!! I will go into details later. I am thinking of having more than one post to talk about this trip so don't worry, I will mention it.
This post is about the trip down there. We drove down, all the way through the night with out stopping once for a motel. I slept on the floor of our SUV and my siblings slept on the seats. Our parents took turns driving in the night while the other slept.
We were in WI Dells when the battery died and we had to get the SUV fixed. So dad got a county worker to stop and asked him about a place to have it towed to. (Meanwhile we kids goofed off.) The worker told us to call Platt's Garage so we did and a tow truck came from Platt's to tow us away. The driver said we could just stay in the SUV as he towed us and so we did! I had never ridden in a vehicle as it was being towed. Very fun. So we had a picnic while they fixed our SUV, and it only delayed us a bit. My brother and sister and I went exploring in the woods near by and found a cool tree. Very cool. So we left when the SUV was fixed and continued on our merry way. We went through lots of states and cities. But we finally made it after 30 hours in the car!! yay!! We made it to Daytona Beach!

Look for part 2 of the adventure!

All the music

Man oh man! Have I been busy or what lately! All I have been doing is band related stuff. I had an honor band concert in the last part of January, and plenty of pep band events for school, and a band festival, and now a concert today! Goodness me! Thankfully it is the fun kind of busy. Some of the songs we are playing in band are so fantastic I find myself lost in my imagination as we play. And of course the director makes it fun too.
Another thing is that my birthday was 3 days ago, and all the money I got for it is going to Marching band for next year.(You wouldn't believe how much it costs to be in the Marching band!) And once I save up for that, I have to start saving for a trip to florida that the band is taking next spring. Wow! I have never really had a need for money before, and now it seems that I can't do anything in this world without money.
And of course a random photo of me and my tuba!

Sorry for the long space where I did not write!

Walk around the Capital

Yesterday my sister and mother and I walked around the Capital of MN with 6,000 others to protest Row v Wade. It was really up lifting to go and be a part of it with others from our church and people around the state all protesting abortion of unborn babies. Many people came up to speak on the subject. We all were glad to hear from our Governor and many others that the abortions in our state are less and less and that the people around us are starting to see the affects of their action of abortion.
Lots of people in this nation still believe that unborn babies are just pieces of lifeless tissue that can't feel the pain of death. And women across the country abort their babies because they didn't want motherhood, they only thought of present enjoyment. And because of Row v Wade, men don't have a say in their child's life. Mothers may choose to do with their bodies as they please even though it affects the father too. All this was said at the rally yesterday and it had an impact on me.
Maybe some of you went to a rally held in you state and heard these things as well. Some how I hope to help the cause of those protecting life. I add my voice for those who have none.

Huzzah! Huzzah! I'm back!

Yes, I am back, my computer is running well again, and I am ready to write and post more on my blogs! I had a wonderful Christmas with my family and have some exciting new years resolutions. I also have joined a new writing club with my friends and have tons of stories spinning around in my head. Now the thing is to write them down so I don't forget them. I am busy these days with my band, pep band, events for school,(I play the tuba) but thankfully Band is the only class I take at the high school so I am not so busy after all. I have so many things to write about! I don't think I could fit them all in once post, I sort of need my pictures off my camera to complete all the subjects if you know what I mean. For example I would love to show you this antique china doll I got for Christmas. She is 30 inches tall and has a homemade dress that flows past her feet, she is so wonderful. Don't worry though, I will get the pics on here sooner or later. Darn it! This isn't the picture I wanted. I guess I will leave it.
Man I need to label my pictures better, I can't find what I am looking for, all I am getting here are random pictures.
Here we are. I made a little doll and bed during Christmas out of holly fabric and red felt. I made the doll two years ago to tell the truth, but I made the bed around Christmas. And, the pic below is of the set of the play I was in, also during Christmas.
And since I didn't get to say this before bcause of the crash, I will say it now: Merry Christmas!
